If you really want to experience what offbeat actually means, you should give this short trek a go. This place from the get go is just beautiful. The trek will make you feel the real essence of what forests in the mountains are like. The trek is very less explored, so it is just cleaner and much different than what you’d expect. The local food is just outwardly with desi ghee. And the hospitality will make you feel like home. You’ll also get to experience the slow local lives and their farms also the trek will take you through meadows and woods you’ll remember for life. And you can blindly follow sunil ji who’ll be your host for anything on your entire trip. He’s the best person to have this journey with. This kind & humble attitude along with his knowledge of trekking will make this trek an unforgettable one. The trip to this place will definitely make you come for more.

Everything about this place was incredible — the peaceful environment, lush nature, scenic trails, and of course, the food. I highly recommend visiting Jiunthi, exploring the jungle, walking past waterfalls, discovering hidden temples, and soaking in the beauty of the forest.
Camping deep in the jungle and enjoying those delicious homemade meals made it an unforgettable experience. Truly one of a kind. Highly recommended!

The Churdhar trek was an absolutely amazing experience! 🌲✨ From start to finish, it felt like a perfect blend of adventure, nature, and culture. The trail itself was breathtaking—surrounded by dense pine and deodhar forests, offering peace and freshness at every step.
What made it even more special was the village experience along the way. Meeting warm-hearted locals, exploring the simplicity of village life, and tasting authentic local Himachali food added so much charm to the journey. It wasn’t just about the mountains—it was about soaking in the culture too.
Unlike the more commercial treks, Churdhar felt truly offbeat and less crowded, which made the connection with nature even stronger. Standing at the summit with panoramic views all around was the perfect reward after the climb.
