At The Himalayan Abode, we understand that travel plans may change, especially when visiting high-altitude destinations like Spiti. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent while accounting for the seasonal and limited capacity nature of our property.
✅ Cancellation Policy
7 days or more before check-in
✔ Free cancellation. 100% of the advance amount will be refunded.3 to 6 days before check-in
✔ 50% of the advance amount will be refunded.Less than 3 days before check-in
❌ No refund. The advance amount will be retained as a cancellation fee.
🕐 Late Arrivals / No Show
If you fail to arrive or do not inform us of a delay, your reservation will be held until 12 PM the following day.
After that, we reserve the right to release the room. No refund will be issued in such cases.
⛰️ Weather or Road Disruptions
In case of official road closures, landslides, or natural events that prevent travel to Spiti, you can:
Opt for a full credit for a future stay within 12 months
Or request a refund after deducting a minimal transaction/processing fee (5%)
🔁 Modification Policy
Date changes are free if requested at least 7 days prior and subject to availability.
Modifications made within 3 days of arrival may be treated as partial cancellations.
💳 Refund Processing
Refunds are issued via the original payment method.
Please allow 7–10 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.
Any payment gateway charges are non-refundable.
