Welcome to The Himalayan Abode. By booking a stay through our website or contacting us directly, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms help ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful experience for all guests.
1. Booking & Reservation Policy
All reservations are subject to availability.
A reservation is confirmed only after receipt of an advance payment or confirmation email from our team.
Full payment may be required before or upon arrival, depending on your booking channel or season.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings if required due to exceptional circumstances (e.g. road closures, weather disruptions, etc.).
2. Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time: Flexible (Purely based on existing guests/ rooms availability)
Check-out time: 10:00 AM (Can be bit flexible)
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
Valid government-issued ID is required at check-in for all guests as per local tourism laws.
3. Guest Conduct
To maintain a peaceful and safe environment:
Loud music, disruptive behavior, or illegal activities are strictly prohibited.
Non-registered visitors are not allowed in guest rooms without prior approval.
Please respect the local culture, environment, and fellow travelers.
Damages to property or loss of items will be charged to the guest responsible.
4. Children & Extra Guests
Children are welcome, but due to high-altitude conditions, parental discretion is advised.
Extra beds or mattresses can be provided on request, subject to availability and additional charge.
The number of guests must not exceed the room capacity booked.
5. Meals & Dining
Vegetarian meals are available upon request.
We do not guarantee availability of specific food preferences without advance notice.
Outside food may be restricted in the dining area to maintain hygiene and service standards.
6. Internet & Utilities
Wi-Fi is provided but may be intermittent due to remote terrain and weather.
Electricity and hot water are solar-supported with backups; occasional interruptions may occur.
7. Liability Disclaimer
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by natural events, travel disruptions, or third-party providers.
Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. We do not take responsibility for lost or stolen items.
Treks or outdoor activities arranged through third parties are undertaken at guests’ own risk.

9. Photography & Media
Photography for personal use is welcome.
Commercial or promotional photography/videography must be approved by management in advance.
